"Why are my nails peeling?!"

This is a question that I have heard from so many clients over the years! My own clients are probably so sick of hearing me ask if they have been following instructions. LOL So the reason that nails can curl away from underneath a nail enhancement is because of the lack of moisture. The nail enhancements job is to give a hard structure without much flexibility, providing protection. Naturally there are some clients that have a tendency to curl because of the way their nails grow, just like our hair does. Correcting this requires a resculpting of the free edge. But in most cases, it's because our own natural nails expand and contract every time we put our hands in water. So if you imagine that flexing over and over, the nail takes on a bending or curl of sorts. The best way to help with this is to keep them hydrated!

Start by brushing under your nails while washing your hands each day. Then apply cuticle oil directly under the nail. This keeps the nails clean and hydrated! Our oil is a blend of tea tree essential oil, which is perfect for this application! We have kits available in the store...Tea Tree Nail & Cuticle Oil – Windsor Hills
