About Us

Yep, that's me and the hubby!
So, how did this all begin? Well, I have been a Cosmetologist for over 30 years.  I'm still happily working part time with some of the best nail clients that I could've ever hoped for. When I'm not in the shop, I'm in my formulary fine-tuning our skincare goodies to meet their unique needs. This hands-on experience has been invaluable in understanding what ingredients work best for different applications and addressing the preferences of all of our clients.
In the vast sea of products, and God knows there are MANY, it's clear that not all of them are champions of good health, despite their allure. Striking a balance between irresistible scents and well-being is no small feat. Motivated by this, I took a deep dive into the ingredients commonly found in commercial products, and the results were eye-opening.
Around 20 years ago, I started creating small batches of bath products for our three daughters. Opting for all-natural ingredients allowed me to retain those delightful seasonal fragrances. Positive feedback from those who tried them out encouraged me to expand, turning our venture into a small family business that now offers exclusive product lines for salons, spas, and even a vet hospital.
Fast forward in the years, and unfortunately, a spinal injury left me with Neuropathy in my arms. In an attempt to find alternative healing modalities, and naturally in the spirit of continuous growth, I pursued further education as a Holistic Health Practitioner. This knowledge has enhanced my understanding of the body and the positive impact of quality ingredients. Gratitude fills me for the wealth of experience gained over the years, mistakes and all. Having a disability is life altering and a daily challenge. But I have learned that if we look close enough, we will see open door for new opportunities. I continue in the hope that I may always be able to work hard and to be an inspiration to others facing challenges. I raised my daughters on these words..."You take whatever you have, whether it's big or small, and work it to the best of your ability....no excuses."
In an attempt to stay true to our roots, every product is still crafted in small batches, featuring exceptional natural ingredients. Our commitment to quality enables us to provide amazing products at a fraction of the cost, all packaged in a simple, eco-friendly manner.
So, we figured out a way to have less of a negative impact by using materials that are ethically sourced, as well as choosing packaging from recyclable materials. But we wanted to see how we could positively impact our community as well. Please see our Blog Post to read all about it!
As for our family, we enjoy a simple, happy lifestyle in the hills of Windsor, a small, close-knit community in Upstate, NY. Yep, that's where the name came from. We know that you can order from a million big stores, but you didn't. You chose to support another small business. A HUGE and heartfelt thank you for keeping this gal working to the best of her ability!
